Bloodflame Talons Lore

Lore Description
"A Blood Oath incantation, granted by the Lord of Blood.

Creates bloodflame lacerations before the caster, which explode in an instant. This incantation can be cast repeatedly.

After dealing damage, bloodflame continues to build up onset of blood loss for a very short time."

Bloodflame Talons Effects

Upon casting Bloodflame Talons, your character does a horizontal talon swipe. After a short delay, a small bloodflame explosion occurs right where you swiped. This spell inflicts blood loss on the enemies it hits.

This spell can be cast repeatedly and turned into a string of combos. Note that the explosion is the part of the spell that does damage, not the talon swipe.

This is a good spell to use if you want to quickly inflict Bleed on an enemy or boss without having to craft any items. Larger, slower bosses will be an easier target, since this spell takes a while to activate.

Bloodflame Talons has adequate close-range AoE, which is good at forcing opponents to keep their distance. Bloodflame Talons could also roll-catch, as the explosion timing will be unfamiliar to newer players.
