Bestial Sling Lore

Lore Description
"Incantation taught by Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman.

Swiftly flings a number of sharp rock shards. This incantation can be cast without delay after performing another action.

It is said that in the time before the Erdtree, stones were the first weapons of the beasts who had gained intelligence."

Bestial Sling Effects

Bestial Sling is a Bestial incantation that throws small rock shards in front of the caster which fan out and deal damage per projectile hit. It has a fast casting animation that can be chained to break the stance of opponents.

How to Get Bestial Sling

Give Deathroots to Gurranq

Gurranq the Beast Clergyman - Deathroot Exchange

After giving several Deathroots to Gurranq at the Bestial Sanctum in Caelid, he will give items and incantations in return. You will receive the Bestial Sling incantation after giving the second Deathroot to Gurranq.

Bestial Sling

Like many of the Bestial Incantations in the game, Bestial Sling can stagger and break the stances of enemies. Since its damage varies depending on how many of its projectiles hit, Bestial Sling becomes particularly useful against bosses and large enemies that like getting in your face.

Pair the Bestial Sling with talismans that decrease casting time of spells like the Radagon Icon to truly unleash its potential as a spammable stance-breaking incantation.

Damage is Boosted by the Clawmark Seal

Players can boost the damage of the Bestial Sling by equipping the Clawmark Seal. Since the best Faith-scaling seal is the Erdtree Seal, wield the Clawmark Seal in your off-hand while casting with your primary seal to boost Bestial Sling's damage.

Another way to boost the damage output of the Clawmark Seal when used as your primary seal is to two-hand it. Since this seal also scales with Strength, two-handing grants you bonus strength that also increases Bestial Sling's damage.
