Bloodboon Lore

Lore Description
"Sacred incantation of Mohg, Lord of Blood.

Thrust arm into the body of the Formless Mother, then scatter the bloodflame to set the area ablaze. This incantation can be cast while in motion.

The mother of truth craves wounds. When Mohg stood before her, deep underground, his accursed blood erupted with fire, and he was besotted with the defilement that he was born into."

Bloodboon Effects

Bloodboon is a Blood Incantation that allows the user to scatter bloodflame in a wide area in front of you that lingers for a short time. It deals Fire damage and causes blood loss to buildup for 30 seconds on enemies.

How to Get Bloodboon

Convert Remembrance of the Blood Lord

Defeat Mohg, Lord of Blood in the boss area of Mohgwyn Dynasty Mausoleum, east of the Siofra River region. After defeating Mohg you can convert the Remembrance of the Blood Lord to Finger Reader Enia for the Bloodboon incantation or the Mohgwyn Sacred Spear.

Used Against Multiple Enemies

Elden Ring - Used Against Multiple Enemies
This Incantaion is particularly effective against large groups of enemies since the AoE is wide enough to cover a substantial area. The lingering effect can also damage trailing enemies which is useful when countering mobs.

It is also strong in PvP, the fast cast time and wide AoE can be used to zone out aggressive players. Use it to bait out dodge rolls to open up your target to other attacks and successfully dodging this spell will still cause blood loss to buildup.

Damage Can be Buffed with Additional Equipment

Bloodboon can be paired with the Lord of Blood's Exultation as it will boost the damage of your physical attacks and spell by 20% when bleed is applied in the vicinity.

Since this is a Fire-based Incantation, it will greatly benefit from the effects of the Fire Scorpion Charm but it is to note that while this talisman is equipped, your damage negation is lowered.
