"Superior incantation taught by Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman. Hurls a boulder before the caster. This incantation can be cast repeatedly. Long ago, Gurranq was a beast of such terrifying ferocity that his former name meant "Death of the Demigods."" |
Stone of Gurranq is a Bestial incantation that conjures large rocks which you can throw at enemies. Its casting animation can be chained, allowing you to throw multiple rocks in quick succession.

Stone of Gurranq can be obtained once you have exchanged 6x Deathroot to Gurranq at Bestial Sanctum in Caelid.
Gurranq Questline and Location
Like the Bestial Sling before it, the Stone of Gurranq is a great way to break the stance of high poise enemies. However, unlike its predecessor, this spell grants the advantage of range, allowing you to keep your distance against highly aggressive enemies like Crucible Knights.
When facing enemies that are tanky or hard to stagger, consider using the Stone of Gurranq to break their stance from a distance and create openings for critical hits or buy time to cast other spells in your arsenal.
Due to the size of the projectile and its high physical damage, the Stone of Gurranq is perfect when fighting large area bosses that are difficult attack in melee combat. Due to its quick casting animation, it is also perfect against bosses that leave little opening for most of the spell builds in the game.
When fighting overworld dragon bosses or large horse-riding bosses like the Draconic Tree Sentinel, the Stone of Gurranq is an amazing offensive incantation to have when rocking a Faith build focused on casting.
Players can boost the damage of the Stone of Gurranq by equipping the Clawmark Seal. Since the best Faith-scaling seal is the Erdtree Seal, wield the Clawmark Seal in your off-hand while casting with your primary seal to boost Stone of Gurranq's damage.
Another way to boost the damage output of the Clawmark Seal when used as your primary seal is to two-hand it. Since this seal also scales with Strength, two-handing grants you bonus strength that also increases Stone of Gurranq's damage.
