Transforms caster into a dragon to spew magic breath. Charging extends duration.

Glintstone Breath is a Dragon Communion incantation that allows the caster to transform into a dragon and spew magic breaths at enemies. The breaths deal magic damage upon hit, making it one of the only magic-based damage attacks that scales with Faith.

How to Get Glintstone Breath

Obtained by Exchanging Dragon Hearts

How to Use Glintstone Breath

Magic Damage for Faith Builds

Glintstone Breath

Glintstone Breath is often utilized when dealing with enemies that have a weakness to magic attacks. For pure Faith builds that have no points in Intelligence, Glintstone Breath is a good magic damage alternative against bosses weak to it like Magma Wyrm Makar (and its variants).

However, do note that like many of the dragon breath incantations, Glintstone Breath also has relatively low poise while casting. This makes you highly susceptible to basic interruptions, especially when only equipped with light armor.

Damage is Boosted by the Dragon Communion Seal

Players can boost the damage of Glintstone Breath by equipping the Dragon Communion Seal. Since the best Faith-scaling seal is the Erdtree Seal, wield the Dragon Communion Seal in your off-hand while casting with your primary seal to boost Glintstone Breath's damage significantly.

Since the seal's buff effect is passive, it is not necessary to upgrade your Dragon Communion Seal unless you will be using it as your primary casting seal.
