Discus of Light Lore

Lore Description
"One of the incantations of the Golden Order fundamentalists.
Produces a ring of light and fires it forwards. The ring of light returns to a position close to the caster before disappearing. This incantation can be cast repeatedly.
A gift from young Miquella to his father, Radagon."

Discus of Light Effects

Elden Ring - Discus of Light

Discus of Light is a Fundamentalist incantation that throws a small ring of light forward when cast, dealing damage to enemies it hits along the way. After a short delay, the ring returns back to the caster, again dealing damage to enemies it hits while returning.

Note: Despite dealing Holy Damage, killing Skeleton-type enemies with Discus of Light does not prevent them from coming back to life.

Can be Used to Hit Multiple Enemies

How to Use Discus of Light

Discus of Light can be used if you are being chased by a train of enemies. Sprint away before casting it at your pursuers to hit multiple opponents at the same time. However, do note that targeting can be a bit finicky, especially if the enemy you locked on to moves away from the pack.

Damage is Boosted by the Golden Order Seal

Players can boost the damage of Discus of Light by equipping the Golden Order Seal. Since the best Faith-scaling seal is the Erdtree Seal, wield the Golden Order Seal in your off-hand while casting with your primary seal to boost the damage of Discus of Light.

Since the seal's buff effect is passive, it is not necessary to upgrade your Golden Order Seal unless you will be using it as your primary casting seal.
