Dragonbolt Blessing Lore

Lore Description
"Superior incantation of the capital's ancient dragon cult.

Summons lightning to bolster the caster's body. Attacks become easier to deflect and resistance to all ailments is increased. However, lightning damage negation will be reduced.

Only those loved by dragons can survive the ordeal of cladding their bodies in lightning."

Dragonbolt Blessing Effects

The caster summons a lightning bolt from the sky and enchants their body with a lightning effect that deflects all one-handed light attacks, save for whips, and nearly all one-handed non-charged strong attacks, save for whips and large weapons.

Dragonbolt Blessing also boosts Focus, Immunity, and Robustness by 30 points, thereby increasing status ailment susceptibility, and significantly decreases lightning damage defense. The effect lasts for 1 minute and 10 seconds before it expires.

The Stormcaller Church is located in the Altus Plateau region, near the Sainted Hero's Grave.

The path near Stormcaller Church will be guarded by a mounted Leyndell Knight and inside will be two foot soldiers waiting to ambush you as you enter from the main entrance of the church.

After defeating the Leyndell Knight enter from the side of the church to surprise the foot soldiers inside. The chest containing the Dragonbolt Blessing is on the eastern side of the church.

How to Use Dragonbolt Blessing

Used Before Start of Battle

This is a spell that you cast on yourself right before engaging in battle, along with other buffs you might want, that will all give you an edge in combat.

Best Used in PvP

Elden Ring - Best Used in PvP
Cast this spell right before attacking anyone in online combat, then proceed to get in close and attack them viciously. Since their light attacks will bounce right off, they will be forced to use charged strong attacks, which are easy to interrupt, and jumping attacks, which are easy to dodge.
