Greyoll's Roar Lore

Lore Description
"Superior incantation of Dragon Communion. Channels the power of Greyoll, the Elder Dragon. An incantation of legendary status.

Transforms caster into a dragon to emit a terrible roar, reducing the attack power and defense of nearby enemies.

Greyoll was the mother of all dragons, dwarfing all who stood before her like a looming mountain."

Greyoll's Roar Effects

Greyoll's Roar is a legendary dragon communion incantation that allows the caster to transform their head into Greyoll to let out a terrible roar, affecting foes in an area of effect (AoE) around the caster. Enemies caught within the AoE will be damaged and knocked away.

They will also suffer a debuff which decreases their attack power and reduces their defense. This debuff lasts for a minute before it expires.

How to Get Greyoll's Roar

Obtained by Exchanging Dragon Hearts

Greyoll's Roar can be obtained by exchanging 5 Dragon Heart at the Cathedral of Dragon Communion. The spell will only appear for purchase after defeating Elder Dragon Greyoll.

Use Against Multiple Enemies

Greyoll's Roar is an extremely powerful spell that can wipe out hordes of weaker enemies in one blow. This spell is great to use against enemies when outnumbered.

Best Used Against Bosses

Since Greyoll's Roar requires a large amount of FP for each use, it can be really wasteful to use this incantation on weaker enemies. To make the most out of your FP, use this spell when fighting against strong enemies with a large health pool, especially against bosses.

This way, you can fully utilize the debuff that comes with the incantation, as boss fights tend to last for a long time.

Takes Time to Cast

Greyoll's Roar is a good spell to use when your target is focused on another player or summon. This is because Greyoll's Roar takes a while to cast and leaves you open to attack.

Greyoll's Roar may be better used when your opponent has been knocked back by a spell like Rejection or, better yet, put to sleep with Trina's Arrows.
