"One of the incantation of Erdtree Worship.

Greatly increases magic damage negation for the caster and nearby allies. Hold to continue praying and delay activation.

This incantation was used by the champions of the Erdtree in the First and Second Liurnian Wars, during which the red-haired Radagon joined the heroes' ranks."

Location ▶︎ Altus Plateau - North of the Erdtree Sanctuary Site of Grace in Leyndell, Royal Capital (Invisible Scarab)
Reward ▶︎ Incantation: Barrier of Gold

Take the west exit from the Erdtree Sanctuary site of grace in Leyndell, Royal Capital. Follow the path until you reach a lift going down. Once you reach the bottom of the lift, follow the path once more until you see two perfumers and a Crucible Knight in the area.

Defeat the perfumers first and then the Crucible Knight to be able to hunt invisible scarab carrying the Barrier of Gold incantation.

Elden Ring - Used Against Magic Damage Dealing Enemies
Barrier of Gold is best used against Magic Damage dealing enemies and bosses, such as Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon and Sir Gideon Ofnir, the All-Knowing. Once the spell is active, a blueish glow will surround your character and you'll notice a very significant defense boost against high damage dealing spells.

It has a very slow casting animation and holding the skill button will allow you to delay the activation of the incantation. Make sure to cast this before engaging in fights or use Spirit Ashes to distract your enemy while you cast the spell.
