Frenzied Burst Lore

Lore Description
"Incantation originating from the maddening Three Fingers.

Releases concentrated blasts of the yellow flame of frenzy from the caster's eyes.
Charging enhances potency, enabling the blasts to penetrate the enemy's guard.

In times past, every single person who attempted to control the flame of frenzy succumbed to madness after a desperate internal struggle. This incantation is testament to a meager victory."

Frenzied Burst Effects

Your character charges up frenzied flame, then releases a yellow laser-like blast, which travels extremely fast and deals a lot of damage, as well as inflicting Frenzy on the enemy. This spell can be charged for even greater damage.

Note that using this spell inflicts minor Frenzy on your character as well, so take care not to overuse it.

Location ▶︎ Liurnia of the Lakes - North of Frenzied Flame Village
Reward ▶︎ Incantation: Frenzied Burst

The nearest site of grace to this scarab is in the Church of Inhibition, north of the Frenzied Flame Village. Once you unlock that site you can travel south from that location to reach the scarab that drops the Friendzied Burst incantation.

The scarab is surrounded by rats inflicted with madness. You can use Torrent to attack the scarab as it runs away or you can use ranged attacks or items to kill the scarab quickly.

How to Use Frenzied Burst

When Fighting Single Enemies

This spell can travel through enemies, but the burst is so slim that it might as well be used 1 on 1 against tough enemies and bosses. Frenzied Burst won't be a good spell to bring into a 1 on 1 battle with an NPC invader or players in PvP, since this spell is easy to dodge.

Sniping Enemies

Frenzied Burst

Frenzied Burst has very long range for a spell, so it is ideal for taking out enemies one by one from a distance, to reduce their numbers before engaging them in melee.
