Lightning Fortification Lore

Lore Description
"Incantation of the Two Fingers' faithful.
Increases lightning damage negation. This incantation can be cast while in motion.
Follow the path that has been set for you, and you will make enemies of all others: the monks, the sorcerers, the ancient dragon knights, and the scions of gold. Heed me ━ the Lands Between offers no welcome to the Tarnished."

Lightning Fortification is an Incantation, where it allows one to increase its own lightning damage negation and can be used while in motion.

The lightning damage negation effect will last for 1 minute and 30 seconds before it expires.

Lightning Fortification is best used when fighting against enemies that use lightning in their attacks. One example would be the Leyndell Knights you find in Leyndell as they use lightning incantations.

There are also bosses such as Dragonlord Placidusax or Lichdragon Fortissax, where you can use Lightning Fortification to reduce their lightning damage and make the fight easier.

Lightning Fortification should be used before initiating a fight or entering a boss arena with enemies that use lightning damage, as the effect lasts a long time. This will allow you to lessen the risk of getting hit while using it.

If you need to re-apply it, make sure you create some distance between you and your opponent. Alternatively, summoning spirit ashes or having a co-op friend can help you distract your enemies, giving you time to re-apply.
