Black Flame Blade can be bought from Corhyn for 6000 runes after giving him the Godskin Prayerbook that can be found in Stormveil Castle.

To get the Godskin Prayerbook, travel to the Liftside Chamber site of grace and head outside towards where there are a ton of enemies. If you stick to the right, you'll eventually come across a flight of stairs leading down. At the end will be a fog gate with rats guarding it, and you will need a stonesword key to unlock it and obtain the prayerbook in one of the chests inside.

This spell is best used against bosses and enemies with large health pools since the black flame effect is capable of dealing up to 2-5% damage to their total HP during the duration period. It has a fast casting time that allows the fire ball to be thrown consecutively.

The fire damage of this spell can be buffed by the Fire Scorpion Charm by 12% but will lower your damage negation while this talisman is equipped.

Charging the spell will increase the damage fire dealt and will cause the fire ball to explode on impact. The explosion is capable of hitting additional targets if they are in close proximity to each other.

Getting multiple enemies to chase you at once and then performing a charged Black Flame is an optimal strategy to deal the most damage. Since this spell can be charged, it will greatly benefit from the effects of the Godfrey Icon talisman.

Pair with Godslayer Seal

Godskin Apostle Incantations are best paired with the Godslayer Seal as it will boost the effectiveness of these Incantations.
