Inescapable Frenzy Lore

Lore Description
"Incantation originating from the maddening Three Fingers.

Causes the yellow flame of frenzy to blaze from the caster's eyes. The caster then latches onto foes, spreading the madness. This incantation also causes buildup of madness in the caster, and is only effective against Tarnished.

To gaze into one another's eyes is truly the most intimate form of human contact."

Inescapable Frenzy Effects

Your character charges up frenzied flame, then grabs an enemy right in front of you. While they are in your grasp, they receive massive Frenzy damage.

Note that this spell can only be used on human enemies, which includes Tarnished NPCs, NPC invaders, and all player characters.

How to Get Inescapable Frenzy

Found Near the Cathedral of the Forsaken

The Inescapable Frenzy incantation can be found on a corpse at the last landing down the secret area behind the Cathedral of the Forsaken in Leyndell, Royal Capital.

Jumping down this area would be difficult and may take a couple of tries. You can use the Longtail Cat Talisman to prevent any fall damage, but it will not prevent death caused by falling.

You can only access this place after defeating Mohg, The Omen at the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds. After defeating Mohg, hit the altar near the site of grace to reveal the path behind it.

Instakill NPCs

Elden Ring - Instakill NPCs
This spell is extremely powerful and has the potential to instakill anyone grabbed by it. The hardest part is getting the move to hit. The best chances for this move to latch onto hostile NPCs or invader NPCs is right after they are summoned into the world and are standing still, or when they are getting back up after being knocked down to the floor.

Risky When Used in PvP

Elden Ring - Risky When Used in PvP
This move is even more difficult to pull off in PvP, as players will definitely see the move coming. Although since this spell has a similar animation to other Frenzy it is possible to trick another player into canceling your charge up animation, and risking getting hit in order to grab them. This spell is very risky to use but it is very exciting to pull off.
