Head to Ked Bardu and talk to Tungal the Jeweler.

Buy Acid Flux from Mislan in Zarbinzet
Purchase Acid Flux for 10 Gold from Mislan. This item can only be purchased during this side quest.

I actually located the Gem-laden Geode for this side quest at Umir PlateAU actually MapGenie helped me with the location.
