Tried 3 times before knocking it to world tier 1, this also worked for me.
not every time have relogged and cleared the event 20+ times and the quest still will not work
If you have any extra summons like druid wolves or necro summons get rid of them, log in and retry. Worked for me
i tried that 3 times and relogg didnt work for me
I changed to world tier 1 and retried after failing 4 times and it worked doing that
*FIX* Clear the event just outside the dungeon and it will work.
I have the same issue. I've done the event 3 times, restarted 5 different times, and still bugged. And I just need 10 more points for total completion fo the zone :-/
Took me a couple tried of tries, but finally worked after leaving dungeon, quitting game, and coming back in.
Also, tried abandoning the quest, re-logging, getting the quest again, went to the place again, no event in progress. Entered the cave... Still bugged.
Tried clearing (the event) and re-logging. Didn't work. Tried re-logging, then clearing, didn't work. Tried pulling the mobs down to the NPC's, which gets them moving. They still bug out after the initial mobs are dead though, even after getting them to follow the mobs to the correct area... It's bugged, plain and simple.
The quest is broken like the game and the servers. Total waste of money
you can pull the mobs to the top of the hill and they begin fighting, but it bugs out again when you go this route, and you can't talk to Aielda afterwards. So one unfinished side mission, not done.

yep, relog - clear event und after this it was working
FIX : Just clear the event. relog and get in cave.
To fix the bug what I did is: leave the cave, quit the game, start game, re-enter cave. This gives the option to speak to her again and it worked the second time.
But you realize that event literally resets like each minute or whenever you get to that place again, right? Just exiting the dungeon makes you appear in an event already in progress, lol.
Didn't work for me. Quest still bugged.
