Running to the wall alone didn't help for me. I moved away from it a bit and one of the guys leaped to me. I ran back to the quest giver so they aggro onto the enemy mob. After that they stuck with me. I reckon if I knocked the wall down and then kited them back to the start it would've had the same effect.
This worked for me after trying all the other suggestions. Necro, did no minions. Had to clear to start, not there on the double check, tier 1.
That's what did it for me, after trying everything else. Talked to her. Left while she was talking. Verified there was no event outside. Went back in and the group was finally moving. Thanks!
The steps didn't work for me, but i found this on reddit: "You have to start the dialogue and then run to the wall. After the dialogue is finished they will charge towards the wall" This finally worked for me, even with the event active.
Same. It didn't work following steps in article UNTIL I also dropped to World Tier I.
no dice, have tried for over a week, bugged regarldess of how many times i clear event, log out etc.
Bugged. Can't compete quest even after following your steps. Will try to come back later.
Leave game and rejoined at world tier 1 and re-enter cave and it worked for me.

i dropped the quest, did the event went and got the querst and when i got back in i couldnt even talk to her, i was on the bugged step to clear lol
Cleared event like 5 times, every time i relog theres another event as i get put in a new shard, quest still bugged 2 days later, i guess il just not finish every quest unfortunately. Even going in with no event after relog, quest is bugged, i come out and theres an event again.
I had the bug and barbarians did nor run in with me. So went outside, no event happening, left game then re-entered. Event happening this time but went inside anyway and quest proceeded as expected to completion.
Same here. Its bugged even after 30 times logging out, event clearing, whatever...
I needed to do a few save and exit. The one time it worked, there was an event outside that I didn't clear, didn't matter. If you can hit the barricade during the dialog, you know it is glitched. Dragging monster to them will make them move, but they will go idle right after monsters are gone.
Before you entered the cave, double check if there is that event spawns outside the entrance cave. If there is one, clear the event but if not, then go ahead and enter the cave. Start her dialogue then quickly leave the cave while she is speaking her dialogue. Double check one last time if there is that event again. If there is clear it again, but if not go back into the cave and you should see the group moved up and already attacking the gate to start the quest. Good luck, took me a few tries.
Starting her dialogue in the cave and immediately running to the big gate worked for me, good luck.
Event had been cleared before entering dungeon. Quit game and came back in and it was fixed.
