leave the dungeon or leave the game??
This doesn't work
even funnier part is my character is named fate..... damn quest took me 40min of trying
I honestly must of had the worst luck. Anyway I 100% promise the only real solution to this glitched quest is entering the dungeon checking if the wall has a health bar. If it does, leave and try again. teleporting doesnt matter, changing tier doesnt matter, just keep leaving and trying again.

Meet Ealda within the Wasting Hollow is bugged. Restarted several times and changed World Tiers also....Didn't matter
Still bugged, tried all the things, they're just standing there.
1. Enter Cave 2. Talk to NPC 3. Teleport to town while she is giving pep talk 4. wait 5 seconds 5. go back through portal. This worked after trying everything else in this thread
The only thing that worked for me is changing World Tier from III back to II, and it worked the first time.
I had a issue with the bug, tried every fix i seen, walk along wall, clear event, log out and in, for me to fix it i had to drop to tier 1

I tryed all World Tiers and in World Tier 1 i completed the Quest.
Guess I'll have to find someone doing this mission, I've tried over a dozen times with all suggested fixes for the last 4days,no dice.
Did everything that everyone else suggested and still was bugged and couldn’t progress. Joined a friend that was on the quest and when they talked to Ealda, it worked and the NPCs rushed towards the gate and was able to complete it. I’m unsure how a quest can get bugged that bad, but man lol.
total bug, tried wt3 and wt1, no change
Changing tiers worked for me.
I had to go from WT4 to WT1, but that worked for me (finally!). Took a while of going through the different steps in the comments before i tried that, but it worked like a champ. 100% quest completion!
Resetting from WT4 -> WT3 worked for me. I believe I started this quest chain on WT3, which may be a factor.
I will concur, i was able to complete it when the barricade didn't have a HP bar prior to the start of the dialog. It took me 4 time as well to leave and quit game to trigger the barricade to not have an HP bar.Then the mechanics of the quest worked.
I just kept leaving dungeon, leaving game, entering cave, checking if barracade has red bar. If it did, I left dungeon and left game and repeat. Until maybe 4th try the Barracade didn't have red bar and I then spoke to NPC and they yelled and rushed in after the speach
