Diablo 4 (D4) has three out of the five announced classes available to play during its beta. Read on to find out each classes' overview, perk, playstyle, and which class you should choose during Diablo 4's open beta!
List of Contents

The Barbarian is a recurring class featured in all the Diablo games with the exception of Diablo I. This class focuses on melee combat, favoring brutal strikes to overwhelm enemies.
The Arsenal system allows the Barbarian to equp a total of four different weapons, with the Barbarian automatically switching to the best equipped weapon for any particular skills.
This class mechanic may come in especially handy once the end-game is available if there are weapons that provide bonuses just for being equipped.
As mentioned above, the Barbarian likes to fight up close and personal. This class comes with a sizeable HP pool to complement its melee focused playstyle. So if you enjoy bashing and slashing your foes, consider playing the Barbarian!

The Rogue is a combination of Diablo II: Lord of Desctruction's Assassin, and Diablo III's Demon Hunter. This class can freely switch between ranged and melee combat, using traps to their advantage, and finishing hapless enemies before they can even blink.
The Imbue system allows some of the Rogue's skills to alternate between Shadow, Cold, and Poison damage. Cold freezes enemies, Poison deals DPS damage, and Shadow applies a debuff that causes enemies to explode on death.
The Rogue is an evasive warrior that likes to deal with enemies quickly and efficiently. Most of your combat encounters will end without you taking any damage due to the glass-cannon nature of this class. If traps, poison, bows, and daggers are your preferred playstyle, create a Rogue!

The Sorcerer fills in the role of Diablo IV's spellcaster. This class utilizes spells and the arcane to blast enemies from a distance.
The Sorcerer's active skills come with a passive effect that can only be activated by placing them into enchantment slots.
These enchantment slots are essentially extra skills slots that only the Sorcerer has access to. By placing skills into enchantment slots, these skills can no longer be used as active skills, but will have their passive effects triggered for as long as they are slotted.
This class is essentially Diablo IV's magical glass-cannon. Sorcerers have access to a wide variety of spells and arcane magics that they utilize to defend themselves. Play the Sorcerer if you're interested in conjuring walls of fire and tendrils of lightning!
