Burmy changes according to the post-battle map.
Burmy will change form according to the map after the battle. You don't have to defeat your opponent, so you can change its form by going into battle and running away.

Rotom wants to Interact with the Mechanical Cabinet

After purchasing the mechanical items from Ginter, the appliances will appear in your home. With Rotom in your party, interact with these appliances and Rotom will express interest into changing form. To change Rotom back to its original form, simply interact with the appliance again.
