At the stable, you will be able to register a wild horse for 20 Rupees. Registering a wild horse at the stable allows you to name the horse and receive a bridle and saddle.
Initially, you can enroll up to 5 horses but you will be allowed to board more horses as you accumulate more Pony Points. The maximum number of horses you can register is 10.
You can take out any of your registered horses at any stable and ride them across the fields of Hyrule for faster traveling from one settlement to another.
If you've left behind any horse out in the open or failed to board them back in a stable, you can instantly retrieve them by simply going to any stable and selecting them from there.
You can also stay at the Inn to refill your Hearts. For 20 Rupees, you can sleep on a regular bed which restores all of Link's missing Hearts.
For 50 Rupees, you can sleep on a Malanya Bed instead, which not only restores all Hearts but adds three temporary yellow heart as well. You might even get a message from the Malanya the Horse God himself during your stay.
Pony Points can be earned for using any of the services at the Stable. You can then exchange these points for various rewards.
To get the Pony Points Card, simply register your first horse. This will be for free and you'll get two points the first time!
Stable is also where you will find traveling shopkeepers such as Beedle, who will sell you supplies or share information about the items you are interested in.
All stables have a cooking pot on the eastern side of the area. You can use it to pass the time or cook food and make elixirs from the materials that you have gathered.
You can find a poster of a recipe on the wall inside the stable. You can use the scope to zoom in and check the ingredients listed so you can recreate it for yourself!
List of Cooked Dishes and Recipes
All stables have a well on the western side of the area. The wells are usually small and may contain materials that are useful for exploring caves and areas from the depths.
Most stables contain NPCs that give side adventures and side quests. Look out for their speech bubble if it contains a red exclamation mark (!) as this indicates that the character has a quest.
Additionally, all chain missions of the Potential Princess Sightings Side Adventure start in stables. You can unlock these Side Adventures by talking to Penn who will start appearing in stables after activating the main side adventure in the Lucky Clover Gazette Headquarters.
