Ishodag Shrine Puzzle Solution

Ishodag Shrine (A Windy Device) in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) can be found west of Quarry Ruins in the Hyrule Field Region. Read on to learn its location, puzzle solution, as well as all treasure chest locations in Ishodag Shrine.

Ishodag Shrine Location

West of Quarry Ruins

Ishodag Shrine can be found west of Quarry Ruins in the Hyrule Field region. It is also southwest of Hyrule Castle.

The exact coordinates of the shrine is at -0878, 0423, 0049, and it is surrounded by a rocky terrain.

To get there, travel to Lookout Landing Skyview Tower, and launch yourself from there to glide northwest towards the Ishodag Shrine.

Puzzle Shrine

This is a Puzzle type Shrine, so you need to solve the puzzle to reach the end and get a Light of Blessing.

Try to look around the area to find a way to move forward, and remember to use Link's Ultrahand, Ascend, or Recall abilities!

Ishodag Shrine Puzzle Solution

1. Place the Fan on the Floor
2. Attach a Fan to the Wooden Platform
3. Cross the Water
4. Attach a Fan to the Incline on Your Right
5. Use Ascend to Get the Chest
6. Attach Two Fans Under the Square Cart
7. Hit the Cart With a Weapon

Video Guide

1. Place the Fan on the Floor

Upon entering the shrine, grab a Zonai Fan to your left using Ultrahand.

Place it on the floor; make sure that the side where the air comes out is facing upwards. Hit the Zonai Fan, and ride the updraft with your paraglider to get to the elevated platform.

If you don't have a paraglider, you can move the Fan upwards to the top of the platform with Ultrahand. Then, drop it to where you are. Climb on top of the Fan, and use Recall to get up.

2. Attach a Fan to the Wooden Platform

Continue forward to the next section of the puzzle. Grab the Zonai Fan lying around, and attach it to the wooden platform nearby using Ultrahand. This creates a makeshift raft.

3. Cross the Water

Place your makeshift raft on the water, then hit the Fan. The wind pushes the raft forward and lets you cross the water to get to the other side of the room.

4. Attach a Fan to the Incline on Your Right

In the next section of the shrine, grab one of the Zonai Fans lying around, and attach it to the side of the incline that is opposite of where the chest is. Hit it with a weapon to turn it on. This will straighten out the incline.

5. Use Ascend to Get the Chest

Use Ascend on the straightened-out platform to get to the top. Open the chest to receive an Opal.

6. Attach Two Fans Under the Square Cart

Grab the Fan from the incline and one other Fan lying around, and attach them under the square cart up the stairs.

7. Hit the Cart With a Weapon

Finally, hit the cart with a weapon to trigger the Zonai Fans.

Examine the altar when you reach the top to receive a Light of Blessing.

Opal

After crossing the water, attach one Zonai Fan on the side of the incline that is opposite of where the chest is. Hit the fan to push the incline upwards and straighten it out.

Ascend onto the platform, and open the chest on top of it to get an Opal.
