East Akkala Plains Chasm

If you've followed the flight path with your Sensor + set to Dinraal and are still having trouble finding this dragon, try waiting by Chasm entrances. Dinraal may be emerging from the Depths or heading down there.

Dinraal emerges from the East Akkala Plains Chasm and goes down into the Depths through the Drenan Highlands Chasm.

The coordinates and location provided above can serve as a good waiting point for Dinraal. This is one of the best ways to encounter Dinraal as it lets you get close to it without leaving the cliff, allowing you to easily hit it on hard-to-reach areas like its claws and mouth with your bow and arrow.

This area is also close to Drenan Highlands Chasm. Like most dragons, Dinraal follows a route that passes through the Depths and this chasm serves as its entrance.

The Flamebreaker Set will help you withstand Dinraal's volcanic heat as it provides Flame Resistance as its passive effect. Wearing it allows you to freely take its materials without taking any significant damages from its volcanic heat.

All the items listed above will have a chance to drop down to Hyrule. In any case that you wanted to have another one of these, you can wait ten minutes to force a respawn.

When waiting for a respawn, you need to wait ten minutes in real life and keep the game running. Opening your menu will interfere with the waiting time.

Some Materials Might Fall

Like other dragons, hitting certain parts of their body will cause them to drop materials instead. You can get these items by simply diving off the dragon and catch the spheres that fell off.

I walked along Dinraal’s back and picked up several shards of its spikes 1 or 2 on every 1 or 2 spikes.

You forgot about fangs the dragons all drop fang shards if you shoot their mouths
