Defeat the enemies on the Battle Talus before taking it on, to make the fight much less chaotic and easier to handle. Using bows to pick them off from afar is a good strategy.
Use Link's Ascend ability to phase through the planks and get up on top of the Battle Talus, allowing you to access its weak spot.
Ascend Guide: How to Pass Through Ceilings
The black rocks growing out of the Battle Talus are its weak spots. Hit these to deal great damage to the Battle Talus. Keep on doing this in order to defeat it.
the Battle Talus will throw you off, if you hit its weak spot for too long. This doesn't do much damage, so land with your Paraglider and get back on to do more damage.
Do not stay directly under the Battle Talus for too long, as it will stomp on you, dealing massive damage that can instakill you. Keep your distance until you can find a good chance to use Ascend.
Battle Talus Monsters have built structures onto this Talus to create what might be called a moving fort. Its body is reinforced with wooden planks to keep away enemies. It can't be easily climbed. |
