Colgera can also be fought at the Wind Temple during the Tulin of Rito Village main quest.

Phase 1 | Phase 2 |

Colgera has three weak spots total, which are the rounded parts of its body. Each weak spot is protected by a shell of spikes. If you fall under Colgera and look upwards at its underbelly, you will see the exposed weak spots.
Colgera will occasionally launch its spikes at you, revealing a weak point. This makes it easier to hit the weak points from above Colgera.
Hit Colgera's weak spots twice: Once to break the membrane, and another time to destroy its undefended weak spot.
To make this a quick fight, fall below Colgera, then use your arrow to throw two hits at its underbelly. Do this three times on each weak point to proceed to Colgera's second phase.
|
In phase 2, Colgera will summon several tornadoes. Stay away from Colgera to easily weave in between these tornadoes to dodge them.
In phase 2, you will need to hit Colgera's weak spots three times instead of two. This includes two hits on the membrane, and one hit at the core weak point.
When Colgera escapes into its teleport bubble, use Tulin's Gust of Wind ability to position yourself away, as Colgera will appear from below you to perform a pincer strike. This is a great opportunity to hit its weak points, as Colgera will fly right in front of you.
How you beat Colgera is still the same, but it will be a bit harder since you'll be fighting it in the Depths, and there won't be any solid platforms for you to stand on or take cover from projectiles launched by Colgera.
Colgera Scourge of the Wind Temple The culprit behind the blizzard that plagued the Hebra region. This huge beast harnesses wind to produce strong updrafts and lift itself aloft. The jagged layer of ice covering its body serves as a protective shield and allows it to launch frozen spikes at its foes. |

After you beat Colgera in the Hebra Mountains Depths near the Narusis Lightroot, it will drop a Colgera Jaw, which you can fuse with a weapon to turn it into a Colgera Reaper.
A treasure chest will also appear, which contains a Huge Crystallized Charge, which is used to upgrade your Energy Cell.
Where to Get Crystallized Charges
Master Kohga | Colgera | Moragia |
Marbled Gohma | Sludge Like | Mucktorok |
Queen Gibdo | Seized Construct | Phantom Ganon |
Demon King Ganondorf | Demon King Ganondorf (2nd Form) | Demon Dragon |
An easier way to damage Colgera is to dive through its weak spots and it will destroy them in one go in both phases of the boss.
