Can You Pet the Dogs?

You Cannot Pet the Dog in Tears of the Kingdom

There is no way to pet the dogs in Tears of the Kingdom. Instead, you can feed it with three pieces of meat or fruit while it is happy and it may lead you to a nearby treasure chest.

Take a Photo to Add an Entry to the Hyrule Compendium

Much like other animals, you can take a photo with it using the Camera to add its entry in the Hyrule Compendium.
