Marari-in Shrine (Rauru's Blessing) in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) can be found deep within the Pirates' Hideout in Eventide Island. Read on to learn its location, how to reach its entrance, its puzzle solution, as well as all treasure chest locations in Marari-in Shrine.
Marari-in Shrine can be found deep within the Pirates' Hideout in Eventide Island in the Necluda Sea Region. The shrine's exact coordinates are 4632, -3712, 0018 but the entrance to the cave it's in is at 4745, -3778, -0001.
Don't attempt to go there right away though! The shrine will stay locked behind a wooden gate until you've completed the side quest ”Seeking the Pirate Hideout”.
Eventide Island is the isolated island in the southeastern area of the map. To get there, you'll need to create a boat of some sort that can take you across the Necluda Sea.
Alternatively, you can also use a Hover Bike to get to the island easily. Just make sure that you have enough energy cells, so you won't land on the water mid-flight.
When you reach Eventide Island, talk to a man named Sesami standing by a red tent to start the side quest that will unlock Marari-in Shrine.
This is a Rauru's Blessing Shrine with a treasure chest inside as well as a Light of Blessing at the altar.
Since Eventide Island is isolated in the southeastern area of the sea, you'll need a vehicle of some sort that can help you cross the Necluda Sea.
We recommend using a Hover Bike to get to Eventide Island faster. We also suggest that you save it in your Autobuild since it's very helpful in exploration (especially in the depths)!
When you reach the island, go to Toronbo Beach and talk to a man named Sesami standing by the red tent. This will initiate the Seeking the Pirate Hideout Shrine Quest.
After talking to Sesami, head for the 3 strongholds on the island and defeat the monster forces inhabiting them. Equip your best armor and weapons, and rain down Hylian fury on the enemy forces.
We recommend using Bomb Flowers to take down multiple enemies or Muddle Buds to make them fight each other.
Go back to Sesame and talk to him again after taking down the 3 strongholds. He will then tell you that the monsters probably have a hideout somewhere in the island!
To get to the Pirates' hideout, head for the easternmost part of the island where the tallest stronghold was located before. Keep heading east until you reach a cliff. Carefully drop down the cliff and find a hole on the wall.
Enter the cave and prepare to fight the Monster Forces in the Pirates' hideout.
The monsters in this hideout consist of Bokoblins and a Boss Bokoblin. We suggest going for the Archer Bokoblins surrounding the ship first since their long range attacks can be bothersome when there's a fight.
Once the Archer Bokoblins have been taken care of, shoot the Boss Bokoblin on the ship with a Muddle Bud to make it fight the other bokoblins in the ship.
After the Boss Bokoblin has taken care of all other Bokoblins in the ship, lure it to the edge of the ship and hit it with a two-handed weapon until it plunges down to the water and drowns.
After the enduring battle, head towards the back of the ship to see the shrine entrance just across a cave. Use Ultrahand, and create a makeshift bridge with the wooden planks near the back of the ship. From there, proceed to the shrine and examine its terminal to activate it.
Once you've collected your rewards from the shrine, go back to Sesami to complete the ”Seeking the Pirate Hideout” side quest.
After the exhausting battles with the Monster Forces of Eventide Island, you'll be rewarded with a Ruby at the shrine. Simply open the chest to receive your reward and examine the altar to receive a Light of Blessing!
