You will need to enter the Minshi Woods Chasm to get to Korok Forest. To get there players can fast travel to Ekochiu Shrine and head north of the Woodland Stable to find the Korok Forest.
When you head down underground, you will find a group of Poes on the northern side of the area. Follow these Poes to reach the area where you can find the exit that leads to the Korok Forest.
To light up larger areas of the grove, use Brightbloom seeds. Attach them to Link's arrow and fire over a dark area to illuminate it.
Another way to make navigating easier is to use the surface map to get through the area and use the Korok Forest map. The Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower should reveal this portion of the map!
As you follow the group of Poes, you will reach an area filled with Gloom and the exit at the north. Use the scope to place the pin, so you can rely on the minimap and reach the area.
Once you reach the temple-like area, use Ascend on the ceiling to pass through it and arrive at the Korok Forest in the surface.
In any case you get lost, find the Wicked Tree at the south east section of the area. The Wicked Tree is an angry-looking tree that you can find around Korok Forest. You can board this tree and it will take you to the entrance of the Lost Woods.

To find the Gloom Hands and Phantom Ganon to beat, jump through the Deku Tree Chasm. In preparation for the upcoming battle it's best to bring Sundelion-based dishes to restore hearts afflicted by gloom as well as using the Gloom-resistant equipment like Midna's Helmet.
At the first phase of the fight with the Gloom Hands, paraglide down the second ledge from the top. Place a Zonai Stake on the Gloom-filled area and stand on it. From there, you can attack the Gloom Hands from a safe distance.
It is recommended to fuse the Arrow with a Keese Eyeball to make it easier for you to hit the Gloom Hand.
After defeating the Gloom Hands it transforms into Phantom Ganon, which Link will have to beat. Beating Phantom Ganon cures the Deku Tree and allows the Korok Forest to be fully explored including doing its Shrines, and the quest to find the Master Sword.
Players will know that the forest is restored back to normal as Hestu will reappear.
