Kimayat Shrine Puzzle Solution

Kimayat Shrine (Proving Grounds: Smash) in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) can be found west of Skull Lake in the Eldin Canyon Region. Read on to learn its location, puzzle solution, as well as all treasure chest locations in Kimayat Shrine.

West of Skull Lake, Eldin Canyon

Kimayat Shrine can be found west of Skull Lake, near Gut Check Rock in the Eldin Canyon Region. The exact coordinates of the Kimayat Shrine is at 2863, 3637, 0241.

The Kimayat Shrine is surrounded by a rocky terrain, given that the shrine is located in the Eldin Canyon Region.

Travel to Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower and launch yourself from there to glide north towards the Skull Lake.

Proving Grounds

This is a Proving Grounds Shrine where your combat skills and resourcefulness will be tested.

Use the weapons and items inside the Shrine to defeat enemies and clear the area!

Advanced Combat Tips

Kimayat Shrine Puzzle Solution

1. Collect All the Weapons
2. Fuse Spiked Iron Balls to Your Weapons
3. Destroy the Soldier Constructs Below
4. Grab the Ice Fruits
5. Shoot Arrows with Ice Fruits Towards the Water
6. Destroy the Stone Column
7. Proceed to the Altar

1. Collect All the Weapons

Upon entering the Kimayat Shrine, your equipment will be stripped away.

Collect the Long Stick, Wooden Stick, Old Wooden Bow, and Arrow x10 you find near the entrance to use for this shrine.

2. Fuse Spiked Iron Balls to Your Weapons

Head left, and use Ascend underneath one of the elevated platforms held up by breakable stone columns.

When you reach the top of the platform, use Fuse to combine both your weapons with Spiked Iron Balls.

3. Destroy the Soldier Constructs Below

Equip your weapons, and lay waste to the Soldier Constructs roaming the area.

4. Grab the Ice Fruits

Once you have unleashed Hylian Fury onto the Solider Constructs, survey the area, and grab the Ice Fruits you find in the vicinity.

5. Shoot Arrows with Ice Fruits Towards the Water

You will need to defeat the remaining Soldier Constructs located on the elevated platform above the pool of water.

Attach an Ice Fruit to your arrow, and aim towards the pool area right next to the stone column. When you shoot the arrow towards the water, a block of ice will form.

You can also throw the Ice Fruits instead if you don't want to use up your arrows, and just adjust the ice block placement using Ultrahand.

6. Destroy the Stone Column

Swim towards the block of ice. Using your Spiked-Iron-Ball weapon, destroy the stone column that is holding up the elevated platform above you. The remaining Constructs should fall into the pool and be automatically defeated.

If successful, all your equipment will be returned to you, and the gate that leads to the altar will open up.

7. Proceed to the Altar

Collect the Captain II Reaper you find inside the chest, and proceed towards the altar to complete the Kimayat Shrine.
