Wao-os Shrine (Lever Power) in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) can be unlocked by completing The White Bird's Guidance Shrine Quest in the Tabantha Frontier Region. Read on to learn how to unlock Wao-os Shrine Shrine, its location, puzzle solution, as well as all treasure chest locations in Wao-os Shrine!
List of Contents
Wao-os Shrine can be found inside West Lake Totori Cave, and can only be unlocked by completing The White Bird's Guidance Shrine Quest.
Travel to Rospro Pass Skyview Tower and launch yourself from there to glide towards the Rito Village.
Once you have arrived in Rito Village, talk with Laissa and begin The White Bird's Guidance Shrine Quest.
From there, glide northeast towards West Lake Totori Cave in the Tabantha Frontier Region.
You may need to equip the Snowquill Set or prepare dishes that provide resistance resistance to cold weather, given that the area is located in the Tabantha Frontier Region.
This is a Puzzle type Shrine, so you need to solve the puzzle to reach the end and get a Light of Blessing.
Try to look around the area to find a way to move forward, and remember to use Link's Ultrahand, Ascend, or Recall abilities!
All Abilities and How to Unlock
Head towards Rito Village by launching yourself from the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower, and gliding south.
From there, find Laissa in Rito Village and talk with her to begin The White Bird's Guidance Shrine Quest.
Wao-os Shrine is a little tricky to find as it's hidden inside a cave. You'll need to find the West Lake Totori Cave entrance which can be found in the spot marked above.
Glide from the area where you have interacted with Laissa, and head northeast towards the indicated spot.
The cave entrance is dark and elevated from the road level, so you'll need to climb up to a ledge with a patch of snow to find the entrance.
From the pond, head to the left of the cave and follow the path down until you find the shrine!
When you enter the Shrine, you'll find a few items on the left side and a platform. Take the bowl-like object and attach it with UItrahand to the end of the platform closest to you. This will create a catapult of sorts!
Take the large metal ball and place it inside the bowl!
With the Ball in place, take the box and drop it on the other end of the platform to launch the ball towards the lower target! This will open up the gate to reveal a wooden plank.
With the plank, extend the platform by attaching it to the middle. You won't need the bowl just yet though.
Step on the plank and use the box and launch yourself upwards. Once you're high up, glide to the right to find the platform with a chest. Open it to snag a Spicy Elixir.
Now that you have the chest, remove the plank and reattach it to the end of the platform so that it's as long as possible.
The plank extension has 2 horizontal lines on it. Reattach the bowl to the second line and not the end of the plank so it does not throw the ball too high. Place the ball in the bowl!
Once again, drop the box from its highest point on the end of this platform to send the ball flying and it should hit the higher target.
Stand on the end of the platform and launch yourself with the box towards the exit! Simply glide towards it once you're high up and you should see the shrine!
Examine the Shrine to receive your reward!
