Ledge and Dispenser Duplication Glitch

This glitch involves walking up a ledge and throwing an item to the ground to duplicate it. To make this glitch work, only need one piece of the item you are duplicating in your inventory.

The game also has a hard limit of displaying only up to 21 items on the ground at a time. Anything more would cause items to disappear, which is why there is a separate setup to maximize the number of items you can duplicate, and that is blocking a Zonai dispenser!

This glitch was discovered by Suishi and Mon Facts, and works for all versions of the game, including Ver. 1.2.0.

Ledge Item Duplication Walkthrough

This set up is for the duplication glitch, but is unfortunately limited by the 21 ground item limit of the game.

Ledge Item Duplication Glitch
1
Build or find any small ramp or ledge.
2 Tears of the Kingdom TOTK - Stand on Ledge
Climb up the ramp and stand near the ledge.
3
Hold R and press up. Select the item that you want to duplicate.
You only need one piece of the item for this glitch to work. Them item should also be something that is safe to drop or throw, so Bomb Flowers and the like will not work.
4 Tears of the Kingdom TOTK - Walk Off the Ledge
Walk off the ledge and press up.
Walk off the ledge. Once you are airborne, press up to bring out the item menu. You can release the R button once you are frozen midair.
5
Press the R and X button at the same time.
Link will throw the item you are holding once you press the R button, and will drop it if you press the X button. You need to do both at the same time to perform the glitch.
6 Tears of the Kingdom TOTK - Duped Items
Check if the item is duped.
If done correctly, you should see the item you threw away and the one you dropped on the ground.

Bypassing Ground Item Limit

This additional set up lets you duplicate past the 21 item limit, which is plugging up a Zonai dispenser's hatch, inserting the items in the dispenser, and pulling the plug via Recall and grabbing as many items as you can.

Bypassing Ground Item Limit
1 Tears of the Kingdom TOTK - Zonai Dispenser
Head to any Zonai dispenser.
2
Place a Zonai fan near the hatch of the dispenser.
Normally, a dispenser's hatch will close once it spits out items. This will force the dispenser to leave the hatch open wide.
3
Offer any item to the Zonai dispenser.
You will get the item back once it slides down the dispenser and leave the hatch open. If it closes down, move the fan nearer to the hatch and offer the item again.
4 Tears of the Kingdom TOTK - Combining Zonai Fans
Grab another Zonai fan and combine the two.
Make sure to not bring the first fan away from the dispenser, or the hatch will close down. If it does, repeat step 2-3.
5
Slide the combined Zonai fans through the dispenser's hatch.
Once it's inside the dispenser, rotate it towards you to lock it in place. This will clog up the dispenser and force any items from it to stay inside, which will not be affected by the ground item limit.
6
Offer the items you duplicated to the dispenser.
Since you can only duplicate a limited number of items before it despawns, offer the items you duped to the dispenser. The items will be stored inside and will not despawn, allowing you to dupe more using the glitch.
7
Use Recall on the Zonai fans to pull it out.
Once you've inserted all your duped items in the dispenser, use Recall on the fans to pull it out.
8
Grab as many items from the dispenser.
After pulling the Zonai fans, all the items you offered will pour out of the dispenser and will now be affected by the limit, so grab as many items as you can before they despawn.

Duplicate Icy Gourmet Meat

Link Shocked
Attention!
The Material Duplication Glitch has been patched in Version 1.2.0.
If you still want to use this glitch, avoid updating the game.

This duplication glitch, popularized by Suishi, works for all versions of the game and involves fusing a weapon and Raw Gourmet Meat, making multiple copies of the fused weapon via Autobuild, and getting Icy Gourmet Meat from the bundle of fused weapons by bringing them out in a snowy place.

You can slay Tabantha Moose at Hebra Mountains and Tabantha Frontier to easily get Raw Gourmet Meat. You only need at least two pieces of this meat, as the rest will be obtained with Autobuild. We recommended checking out a spot east of Talonto Peak at Hebra Mountains where you can find three Tabantha Moose, which you can find south of Rutafu-um Shrine.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

How to Duplicate Icy Gourmet Meat
1
Fuse a weapon with a piece of Raw Gourmet Meat.
Fuse any weak weapon, like a Tree Branch, with a piece of Raw Gourmet Meat. You need at least two weapon and meat fusions to start the setup of this glitch.

Raw Gourmet Meat is used as it is the most expensive ingredient you can sell, even if it turns into into Icy Gourmet Meat later on.
2
Drop the fused weapons on the ground and combine them with Ultrahand.
This treats both weapons as one fusion in Autobuild, like any other Ultrahand builds.
3
Make copies of the weapon and meat fusions with Autobuild.
The weapon and meat fusion will be saved under History in the Autobuild menu and will allow you to make more at the cost of 6 Zonaites.

Make sure to create the copies away from the original fusions, as this will only recycle them.
3b
Create a total of 20 fusions.
You need to make a bundle of fusions which contains 20 fusions to maximize the amount of dupes for this glitch. Make sure to combine each new copy using Ultrahand so it gets saved in Autobuild.

Once you make 20 copies, confirm the set in the Autobuild menu and save it under favorites.
4
Travel to Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower.
Head to Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower and glide down to the campfire southwest of the tower, near the Spring of Wisdom at around 3960, -1353, 0464.
4b
Confirm conditions for glitch to work.
For the glitch to work as effectively as possible, make sure that:
1. It is nighttime. Use the nearby campfire to pass time.
2. The weather is cold, at least at the second bar from the lowest temperature. You can also pass time to change the temperature.
5
Select the fusion in Autobuild.
Once you get the right conditions, select the weapon and meat fusions in Autobuild and let it hover in the overworld. Wait for a few seconds until Icy Gourmet Meat appear and drop out of nowhere!

Take note that you do not need to make an actual copy of the bundle.
5b
Get as many Icy Gourmet Meat as you need.
You can get 20 Icy Gourmet Meat everytime you select the bundle in Autobuild, which is the maximum amount of items you can spawn in the overworld.

You can do this as many times as you like until you reach the maxixmum of 999 pieces of Icy Gourmet Meat.
6
Head to a store and sell Icy Gourmet Meat.
Once you get enough Ice Gourmet Meat, you can travel to any town or stable in Hyrule, find a shop or Beedle, and sell the Icy Gourmet Meat you duplicated with the glitch.

A piece of Icy Gourmet Meat will net you 40 Rupees, and 20 of them, which is the most you can get per bundle, will get you 800 Rupees.
6b
Keep some Icy Gourmet Meat for healing.
If you intend to keep some Icy Gourmet Meat in your inventory, you can use it as your new main meal for healing, which can restore 3 full hearts atop from getting one minute of Heat Resistance.

Duplicate at Tobio's Hollow Chasm

Attention!
The Material Duplication Glitch has been patched in Version 1.2.0.
If you still want to use this glitch, avoid updating the game.

This duplication glitch works for any material that can be fused with an arrow. Note that you need to complete the Joku-u Shrine to open and access Tobio's Hollow Chasm.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

How to Duplicate at Tobio's Hollow Chasm

4 Zelda TotK - How to Duplicate Materials Step 4
Equip the multi-arrow bow and fuse an arrow with the material you want to duplicate.
To perform the duplication glitch efficiently, use a multi-arrow bow such as the Savage Lynel Bow, Duplex Bow, or Great Eagle Bow. This allows you to duplicate 3 copies of the material each time you fire it.
5
Fire the arrow towards the hole.
Once you have the fused material you want to duplicate, fire the arrow towards the hole. The arrows will instead get stuck in the air instead of falling to the ground. If this happens, then you have performed the duplication glitch correctly.

Note: If you want to duplicate another material, make sure to fire the arrow away from the initial area as this may despawn the previous material. You can do this up to a total of 20 materials, as duplicating more causes the other materials to despawn.
6
Run up towards the hole to pick up the materials.
Run up towards the hole and the duplicated materials should drop on the ground, allowing you to pick them up.

2 Anonymous10 months

There's a glitch where you jumo from midair like the patched glitch, eat something in your inventory until there's an empty spot, hold the thing before the item you want to duplicate, then press - twice. It only works if you have less than 5 so you can drop them on the ground and pick them up later.
