Tears of the Kingdom -New Faces

The new trailer showcased new characters that will play a huge role on the fate of Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom. Based on the new trailer, it seems that Princess Zelda is talking to a mysterious someone within a chamber. There is also a lady that might be connected to the Zonais.

It is currently unknown who this individual is but we think that he might be one of the new major characters that knows the current situation of Hyrule.

Who are the Zonai?

The Champions' Successors are Back

The trailer showcased the return of the Champions' Successors, ready to assist Link with his new quest. Octorok

TOTK - Octorok.png

Octoroks are also coming back! Just like in previous games, they still throw things at LInk whenever he's nearby. The only difference this time is that Link now has Recall which he can use to reverse the movement of the object the Octorok throws.

Lynel

TOTK - Lynel.png

Lynels are back with a vengeance, and this time around they look even more menacing. They now sport bigger horns and new weapons.

With the Fuse ability introduced, it's possible that they can also use weapons that are stronger. A Lynel wielding a bow and arrow fused with a Keese eyeball so it homes to its targets? Terrifying but we'd also love to see it!

Molduga

The sand monsters of the Gerudo region are also back!

Although very brief, a group of Moldugas were seen in the last trailer as they were being attacked by an unknown assailant.

Spider Enemy

TOTK - Spider Enemy.png

A new enemy that resembles a spider was also seen in the last trailer. It emerged from what seemed like a void as it tried to attack Tulin and Link.

Judging from the whirlwind surrounding this enemy, it's likely that this is the monster causing the large tornado that was seen in one of the snowy mountains of Hyrule.

Shark Enemy

TOTK - Shark.png

An enemy that looks like a shark was shown in the last trailer as well. It was seen swimming on the surface of one of the sky islands as it chases Link.

It's possible that this enemy is the Sky Island's version of a Molduga.

More Fused Weapons

Bow and Arrow Fused with Ruby

In the last trailer, Link was seen wielding a bow and arrow fused with a ruby. The arrow seems to be spewing fire, so it's possible that fusing them together creates something of a fire arrow.

Royal Gear Fused

TOTK - Royal Weapons Fused.png

A fused Royal Shield and and what seems to be a Royal Claymore were also seen in the last trailer. It's still unknown what effect this is going to have but it's likely that it helps defend Link from attacks while he tries to land a strike on the enemy.
