Gikaku Shrine Location and Walkthrough

Gikaku Shrine (Rauru's Blessing) in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) can be unlocked by completing The Sky Mine Crystal Shrine Quest in the Akkala Sea Sky Region. Gikaku Shrine Location

Sky Mine, Akkala Sea Sky Region

Gikaku Shrine can be found on Sky Mine in the Akkala Sea Sky Region. The exact coordinates of the Gikaku Shrine is at 4506, 2165, 1155.

You will need to complete The Sky Mine Crystal Shrine Quest to unlock the Gikaku Shrine.

This island can be reached by launching yourself skyward from Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower and traveling east.

This is a Rauru's Blessing Shrine with a treasure chest inside as well as a Light of Blessing at the altar.

How to Unlock Gikaku Shrine

1. Reach the Skies through Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower, Then Glide Southeast
2. Create an Aircraft
3. Ride Your Aircraft to Sky Mine
4. Examine Gikaku Shrine
5. Examine the Terminal on the Island
6. Launch Yourself Upward Using the Launch Pads
7. Get the Zonaite Shin Guards from the Spherical Island
8. Go to the Mineral-Cladded Sky Island
9. Drop the Green Crystal to the island where Gikaku Shrine Is
10. Offer the Green Crystal to the Shrine

Video Guide

1. Reach the Skies through Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower, Then Glide Southeast

To reach Gikaku Shrine, you first need to reach the skies above Akkala Region.

Fast travel to Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower and examine its terminal to launch yourself skyward. Once you reach the skies, use your paraglider to glide southeast and reach the island marked on the map above.

2. Create an Aircraft

The island you'll land on has a few Zonai devices on it. Use a Zonai Wing and attach a Fan to it to create an aircraft.

We also recommend adding a Steering Stick to it for easier navigation.

3. Ride Your Aircraft to Sky Mine

Once your aircraft is all set, position your aircraft so that it's pointing east and ride it to Sky Mine.

If your aircraft ever run out of power mid-flight, use Zonai Charges to give it more power.

4. Examine Gikaku Shrine

Land safely on Sky Mine and examine Gikaku Shrine to start “The Sky Mine Crystal“ Shrine Quest.

5. Examine the Terminal on the Island

After unlocking the Shrine Quest, look for another terminal on the island and examine it to get the launch pad on the island to start working.

6. Launch Yourself Upward Using the Launch Pads

Next, use the launch pad to propel yourself upwards and reach the higher island above you. Do the same when you reach the next island to reach another higher island.

7. Get the Zonaite Shin Guards from the Spherical Island

Once you reach the second highest sky island, look west to see a spherical island with a hole on it.

Position the moving platform on the island you're on so that it's facing the spherical island. Then, grab a box nearby and place it on the moving platform. Your goal is to shoot a box into the spherical island.

Once successful, launch yourself to the spherical island and solve the puzzle there to snag the Zonaite Shin Guards!

8. Go to the Mineral-Cladded Sky Island

After getting the Zonaite Shin Guards, exit the spherical island and head for the mineral-cladded sky island nearby.

9. Drop the Green Crystal to the island where Gikaku Shrine Is

Look for the Green Crystal resting atop the mineral-cladded island and drop it to the sky island right below it.

It may take a couple of tries to get the Green Crystal to land safely on the sky island but you don't have to worry if it misses because it will respawn again on its pedestal.

10. Offer the Green Crystal to the Shrine

Finally, jump down to the island where the shrine is and offer the Green Crystal to Gikaku Shrine to unlock it.

Gikaku Shrine Puzzle Solution

1. Claim Your Rewards at the Altar

There are no puzzles that need to be done inside Gikaku Shrine. Simply claim the Ruby inside the chest, then examine the altar to get a Light of Blessing.
