When boarding Naydra, make sure to prepare clothes and items that provide Cold Resistance to combat the sudden drop of temperature. It is recommended to equip the full Snowquill as it provides the best cold protection, allowing you to stay on top of the dragon for a much longer time.
Naydra Material | How to Get |
---|---|
Shard of Naydra's Spike | Gather from the base of Naydra's Crystal Spikes |
Naydra's Scale | Hit Naydra's Body |
Shard of Naydra's Fang | Hit Naydra's Head |
Naydra's Claw | Hit Naydra's Feet |
Hitting Naydra on specific points will spawn different materials you can use to Fuse your weapons with to add ice effects.
All the items listed above will have a chance to drop down to Hyrule. In any case that you wanted to have another one of these, you can wait ten minutes to force a respawn.
When waiting for a respawn, you need to wait ten minutes in real life and keep the game running. Opening your menu will interfere with the waiting time.
Like other dragons, hitting certain parts of their body will cause them to drop materials instead. You can get these items by simply diving off the dragon and catch the spheres that fell off.
