Ukouh Shrine Location and Walkthrough

Ukouh Shrine (The Ability to Create) in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) can be found west of the Temple of Time in the Great Sky Island Region. Read on to learn its location, puzzle solution, as well as all treasure chest locations in Ukouh Shrine.

Ukouh Shrine Location

West of the Temple of Time, Great Sky Island

Ukouh Shrine can be found west of the Temple of Time in the Great Sky Island Region, and can only be unlocked once you have received The Closed Door Main Quest.

The exact coordinates of the Shrine is at 0274, -0914, 1460.

One you begin the Ukouh Shrine, you will receive the Ultrahand ability from Rauru. Use this ability to progress through the shrine.

Puzzle Shrine

This is a Puzzle type Shrine, so you need to solve the puzzle to reach the end and get a Light of Blessing.

Try to look around the area to find a way to move forward, and remember to use Link's Ultrahand, Ascend, or Recall abilities!

1. Use Ultrahand to Move the Slab
2. Attach the Two Slabs Together
3. Move the Combined Slab Over the Gap
4. Make a Ramp to Get the First Hidden Chest
5. Attach the Hook to the Wooden Board

Ukouh Shrine Video Guide

1. Use Ultrahand to Move the Slab

Find the slab on the right side of the area and press the L Button and then the A Button to grab it. Move it towards the ledge to create a bridge.

2. Attach the Two Slabs Together

Use Ultrahand on the vertical slab and move it towards the other horizontal slab. Press the A Button to attach the two slabs together.

3. Move the Combined Slab Over the Gap

Using Ultrahand, grab the combined slab and move it over the gap to create a bridge that leads to the next area.

4. Make a Ramp to Get the First Hidden Chest

If your combined slabs aren't straight, grab them and wiggle the Right Thumbstick left and right to unstick them.

Place both slabs horizontally on the ground. Attach the slabs together, and rotate them to form a ramp that leads to the chest that contains an Amber.

5.Attach the Hook to the Wooden Board

Head to the left side to find a hook on the floor and a wooden board leaning on the wall. Use Ultrahand to attach the hook to the middle of the board.

6. Hook the Wooden Board to the Zipline

After combining the wooden board and hook, use Ultrahand to rotate it and hook it onto the zipline. Jump onto the platform, and wait for it to reach the end of the zipline.

7. Examine the Altar

Head up the stairs and examine the altar to obtain a Light of Blessing.

You can find the first treasure chest right on top of a high ledge in a corner once you have solved the second puzzle of the shrine.

Use the fused stone slabs to create a ramp up to the chest containing a piece of Amber.
