How to Summon Satori

Offer Fruits

Zelda TotK - Summon Satori by Offering Fruits
The only way to summon Satori is to offer fruits under Cherry Blossom trees. He will accept any fruit and will immediately appear after dropping your offer. You can also take the fruit back without removing the light pillars.

Satori Effects

Reveals Cave Entrances

Zelda TotK - Satori Cave Entrance Pillars
After summoning, Satori will activate light pillars that serve as an in-game tracker for caves within the region. This is the best way to spot caves, especially if you're hunting for Bubbul Gems.

Light Pillars Gradually Disappear

All light pillars you approach will gradually disappear the closer you get to it. However, leaving the place will put them back up.

You Cannot Ride Satori

Zelda TotK - Satori Cutscene
In Breath of the Wild, it is possible to ride and interact with Satori. However, in Tears of the Kingdom, that feature has been removed. Satori will disappear after the summoning cutscene. It is also impossible to photograph Satori.
