Josha is a new character in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) who researches the Hyrule Depths. Read on to see Josha's profile and her backstory, and learn more about her role in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK).
Josha is a researcher that focuses on the mysteries of the Hyrule Depths. She theorizes that mysterious people possibly lived in the Depths and wants to retrieve more artifacts to prove this right. However, Robbie prevents her from doing so simply because of its dangers.
Camera Work in the Depths Walkthrough
After finishing your first temple, Josha will send you back to the Depths as part of the new A Mystery in the Depths Main Quest. Doing this mission will let you to unlock Autobuild and register schematics.
A Mystery in the Depths Walkthrough
Josha makes her debut in Tears of the Kingdom as the main researcher of the Hyrule Depths. She also works with Purah to learn more about Princess Zelda's whereabouts.

Despite her wanting to research the Depths, Robbie never allows Josha to go underground. Instead, Robbie volunteers himself and Link to do these missions for her.
