Throw a Bomb Flower into its Mouth

Throw a Bomb Flower into its Mouth
Frox will open its mouth and charge at you. Throw a Bomb Flower into its mouth. It will explode, causing Frox to be stunned for several seconds and fall to the ground. This is your chance to jump onto its back.

Strike Crystals on its Back

Strike Crystals on its Back
When Frox is stunned, jump onto its back and strike the Zonaite crystals with a two-handed weapon to destroy them quickly. Destroying all crystals will defeat Frox. After destroying one or two, Frox will launch you into the air.

Fire a Bomb Flower Arrow After Being Launched into Air

Launch a Bomb Flower Arrow into Mouth
After being launched into the air Frox will open its mouth, expecting to swallow you. Glide in the air for a bit, then fire an arrow fused with a Bomb Flower into its mouth. This will stun it once more, allowing you to destroy more crystals.
