Jochi-ihiga Shrine Location and Walkthrough

Jochi-ihiga Shrine (Rauru's Blessing) in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) can be unlocked by completing the Rock for Sale Shrine Quest in the Akkala Highlands Region. Read on to learn how to unlock Jochi-ihiga Shrine, its location, puzzle solution, as well as all treasure chest locations in Jochi-ihiga Shrine!

Jochi-ihiga Shrine Location

Akkala Falls, Akkala Highlands

Jochi-ihiga Shrine can be found northeast of Akkala Falls in the Akkala Highlands Region. The exact coordinates of the Jochi-ihiga Shrine is at 3809, 1219, 0090.

The Jochi-ihiga Shrine is located beside a waterfall on Lake Akkala. You will need a motorboat built from Zonai devices to reach the shrine.

You will also need to complete the Rock for Sale Shrine Quest in order to unlock the Jochi-ihiga Shrine. Interact with Hagie in Tarrey Town and buy the green crystal he's trying to sell you.

Travel to Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower and launch yourself from there to glide southeast towards Jochi-ihiga Shrine.

This is a Rauru's Blessing Shrine with a treasure chest inside as well as a Light of Blessing at the altar.

How to Unlock Jochi-ihiga Shrine

1. Activate the Shrine Entrance
2. Travel to Rasitakiwak Shrine
3. Glide to Tarrey Town
4. Approach the Man Near the Green Crystal
5. Buy the Green Crystal
6. Head Down to Hudson Construction Site
7. Build a Makeshift Motorboat
8. Place the Motorboat on Lake Akkala
9. Proceed to the Shrine

Video Guide

1. Activate the Shrine Entrance

Head to the southeast area of Lake Akkala to reach the Jochi-ihiga Shrine.

Activate the shrine entrance, and wait for a beam of light to emit from its location.

2. Travel to Rasitakiwak Shrine

Travel to Rasitakiwak Shrine, and face northwest of the map. You will see Tarrey Town just below the area you are currently on.

3. Glide to Tarrey Town

Continue facing northwest and glide down towards Tarrey Town.

4. Approach the Man Near the Green Crystal

Survey the area, and look for a man named Hagie. He will be standing beside a green crystal.

Interact with him to gain access to the railcar and buy the green crystal from him. The price for using the railcar is 20 Rupees, while the green crystal initially costs 100 Rupees.

5. Buy the Green Crystal

When you buy the green crystal for 100 Rupees, a woman named Ruli will disrupt your conversation.

She will ask her husband to lower the cost of the green crystal. Hagie will now offer it to you for 50 Rupees. This will conclude the Rock for Sale Shrine Quest.

6. Head Down to Hudson Construction Site

Attach the green crystal to the railcar, and ride it down to reach the Hudson Construction Site.

7. Build a Makeshift Motorboat

Navigate the area, and build a Zonai motorboat using the wooden planks and Zonai Fans near you.

If you have a Zonai Steering Stick in your inventory, attach it on your makeshift motorboat. From there, stick the green crystal on the boat.

8. Place the Motorboat on Lake Akkala

Use Ultrahand to grab the motorboat, and follow the green beam of light emitting out of the green crystal.

When you are near Lake Akkala, place the boat on the water's surface and ride it towards the direction of the light beam.

9. Proceed to the Shrine

After you reach the shrine, unstick the green crystal from the motorboat and place it on the shrine entrance.

From there, go inside and complete the Jochi-Ihiga Shrine.
