Kanalet Ridge

Mayachideg Shrine can be found west of Kanalet Ridge in the Eldin Canyon region.

Its exact coordinates are 3062, 1823, 0216 and it's surrounded by grassy plains, given that it is located in the Eldin Canyon Region.

Travel to Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower, and launch yourself from there to glide west towards the Mayachideg Shrine.

This is a Proving Grounds Shrine where your combat skills and resourcefulness will be tested.

Use the weapons and items inside the Shrine to defeat enemies and clear the area!

1. Attach the Spikes to the Homing Cart
2. Grab the Weapons in the First Room
3. Hit the Homing Cart and Put It in the Next Room
4. Headshot the Enemy Constructs
5. Kill the Enemy Constuct on Top of the Platform
6. Claim Your Reward at the Altar Room

1. Attach the Spikes to the Homing Cart

This shrine strips you of all your weapons and armor. The only weapons you can use are the ones provided to you inside the shrine. Thankfully, you were given enough resources to defeat the constructs in your way.

Start by attaching the spiked slabs of stone to the Homing Carts using Ultrahand. Use one these to ram the enemy Construct up ahead.

2. Grab the Weapons in the First Room

When the enemy Construct in the first room has been defeated, grab the weapons lying around in preparation for the next battle.

3. Hit the Homing Cart and Put It in the Next Room

Next, hit the Homing Cart contraptions with the Thick Stick to turn them on. Then, put them in the next room where they'll automatically detect and ram the enemies inside.

Your contraptions will take a while to defeat all the enemy constructs but this is by far the safest way we've found to clear them all.

4. Headshot the Enemy Constructs

Help your contraptions defeat the enemies in the bigger room by sniping them with a bow and arrow while hiding behind a wall.

Just be mindful of the number of arrows you have left! We also discourage charging in if there are still many enemies alive because they can easily outnumber and defeat you.

5. Kill the Enemy Constuct on Top of the Platform

Unfortunately, the enemy Construct at the top of the platform can't be detected by your contraptions. You can defeat it by charging straight at it when it's alone.

6. Claim Your Reward at the Altar Room

Defeating all the enemy Constructs will open the door to the altar. Enter it, and open the chest to get a Captain III Spear.
