Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity News

Wave 2 DLC will be Released on November 2021

The second wave of DLC, named Guardian of Remembrance, will be released on November 2021. The DLC will feature new character vignettes, new stages, a second roster expansion, and new battle skills for existing characters.

Wave 1 DLC Now Available

The Wave 1 DLC, named Pulse of the Ancients, was released on June 18, 2021, and includes one new character, new weapon types for Link and Zelda, as well as new quests.

Wave 1 DLC Highlights
Battle-Tested Guardian	New Character The first DLC introduces a new playable character in the roster named the Battle-Tested Guardian.
Master Cycle for Zelda and Flail for Link	2 New Weapon Types Two new weapon types are introduced in the first DLC. These include the Link's Flail and Zelda's Master Cycle.
Royal Ancient Lab	59 New Quests As part of the DLC Expansion Pass, a new set of quests will appear, most of which are part of the Royal Ancient Lab questline.
Vicious Monsters	New Enemy Type Stronger enemies now appear in the first DLC in the form of Vicious Monsters.
New Challenges	22 New Challenges Along with quests, a total of 22 challenges are included in the first DLC. These challenges include the vicious monster sightings, as well as new endgame battles.
Apocalyptic Difficulty	New Difficulty Mode Another feature introduced in the Wave 1 DLC is the new Apocalyptic difficulty mode, which offers a new challenge to returning players.
