Champions' Successor Sidon, Riju, and Tulin are returning to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Read on for information on the Champions, their successor and descendants, as well as speculation as to whether or not they'll appear in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Sidon, Riju, and Tulin have all been confirmed to return in the upcoming game. In the Final Trailer, all three were seen fighting alongside Link.
The Champions' successors helped Link save the Kingdom of Hyrule from Calamity Ganon in Breath of the Wild. Looks like they'll be saving Hyrule again, but this time from Ganondorf himself.
Final Trailer: Everything We Learned

Surprisingly, it seems Daruk's successor is nowhere to be found.
It can be remembered that Yunobo, Daruk's descendant, also helped Link saved the Kingdom of Hyrule in Breath of the Wild. He was a bit coward but was able to pull himself together during their journey to Divine Beast Vah Rudania.
While we haven't seen him yet, it's very likely that he'll be returning to Tears of the Kingdom as well to complete all four successors of the Champions.

At the time of writing, there has been no official news on the Champions from Breath of the Wild appearing in Tears of the Kingdom directly. Considering that the Champions had already passed on 100 years before Link wakes up in BotW, it seems unlikely that they will return in TotK.
That being said, time reversal is a mechanic featured heavily in the trailers for TotK, so there is a chance that they may make an appearance as a result of this new time travel ability. That or they might also just appear in spirit form to support Link and Zelda.

Revali was the Champion of the Rito tribe and pilot of the Divine Beast Vah Medoh who fought in the war against Calamity Ganon 100 years ago, but fell to Windblight Ganon.
Revali has a hot-headed personality and is skilled with a bow. He didn't see Link as being worthy of the title of Champion and the two had somewhat of a rivalry. 100 years later when Link takes down the corrupted Vah Medoh, Revali acknowledges Link's worth as a Champion.

Mipha was the Princess and Champion of the Zora tribe. She was also a gifted healer and piloted Vah Ruta in the war against Calamity Ganon 100 years ago, but fell to Waterblight Ganon.
The Zora tribe are deeply affected by the loss of Mipha, and since the Zora have long life spans, many still remember and blame Link for Mipha's death. However, with the help of Sidon, Mipha's younger brother, Link is able to board Vah Ruta and defeat Waterblight Ganon, freeing Mipha's spirit from the corrupted Divine Beast.
It is later revealed that Mipha had romantic feelings for Link, as she crafted Zora armor tailored perfectly to him, which is a royal tradition for when a Zora Princess selects her marriage partner.

As Champion of the Gorons and pilot of the Divine Beast Vah Rudania, Daruk fought in the war against Calamity Ganon 100 years ago, but fell to Fireblight Ganon.
In the events of BotW, Link rescues Yunobo, a descendant of Daruk who had been keeping the corrupted Vah Rudania at bay by using Daruk's protection and acting as a Goron-sized cannonball. With Yunobo's help and some strategic cannon fire, Link is able to enter Vah Rudania and take down Fireblight Ganon.

Urbosa is the Champion of the Gerudo tribe and the pilot of the Divine Beast Vah Naboris. She fought in the war 100 years ago against Calamity Ganon and fell to Thunderblight Ganon.
Urbosa is shown to be very closse to Princess Zelda, and acts as an older sister figure to her. Urbosa expressed concern towards Zelda's insecurities about not being able to awaken her sacred powers. By understanding Zelda's feelings, Urbosa helped Zelda to see Link in a more positive light instead of seeing him as a reminder of her own failures.
After Link defeats Thunderblight Ganon and stops the corrupted Vah Naboris, Urbosa's spirit is freed.
