Two-handed weapons can inflict massive damage on enemies despite its slow hit rate. These weapons synergizes well with the passive effects of the Barbarian and Fierce Deity Set, so make sure to get these armor sets to do more damages with your two-handed weapons.
Keep in mind that Link will store his weapon back when using a shield. It will take a second to draw his weapon back after every use.

Best Weapons and Shields and How to Get Them

Pristine Weapons are non-decayed versions of weapons found in the Depths. You can find them on top of mounds, held by shadowy figures in various spots of the Depths.
These weapons will also respawn every blood moon which allows you to farm for them every time it happens.

Pristine Weapons will also have higher durability and damage output compared to their decayed counterparts. This makes them the perfect backup weapons when fighting boss enemies and good base weapons for fusion.
