Voe and You Class Solutions

Tears of the Kingdom TOTK - Voe and You Class Solutions

Wear a full face mask, buy a Noble Pursuit, and fuse a Ring Garland to a weapon to solve all Voe and You puzzles in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). Read on for more details and all the solutions in the Voe and You class in Gerudo Town, and how to hide Link's face!

How to Hide Link's Face

Wear a Mask

Tears of the Kingdom TOTK - Wear a Mask

To hide Link's face and talk to Nali, you need to wear a headgear that covers Link's face. The headgear needs to hide the entirety of Link's face, so you can't progress through the class if you wear a hat, or a mask that still shows Link's eyes.

Wear a Full Face Mask for Nali

Tears of the Kingdom TOTK - Nali

For Ashai's first lesson, you need to have a conversation with Nali, who's a bit anxious to face and speak with Link. Ashai will then request that you wear a mask so Nali can make no eye contact with you.

All you need to do to successfully talk with Nali is to wear any headgear that covers Link's face in full. Link's face needs to be hidden, so armor pieces that only cover a part of Link's face or those that are technically just hats will not work.

You can wear Majora's Mask, the Korok Mask, any of the Divine Beast helms, or any of the monster masks from Koltin as long as they hide Link's face. Do note that you will not be able to wear the Yiga Mask, as you will be immediately put in Gerudo Town's jail once you equip it!

Give Pritana a Noble Pursuit

Tears of the Kingdom TOTK - Pritana

For Ashai's second lesson, you need to talk to Pritana, who's a bit parched and needs a drink. She requires the Noble Pursuit, a special drink from Gerudo Town.

You can get this drink at the canteen north of Gerudo Town for 20 Rupees. Once you have the drink, head back to class and give it to Pritana.

You can also make one in a cooking pot if you want to. All you need is a Palm Fruit, a Hydromelon, a Voltfruit, and a piece of Rock Salt.

Show Deltan a Ring Garland

Tears of the Kingdom TOTK - Deltan

Ashai's last lesson will have you converse with a gloomy Deltan who is still reeling from a heartbreak. Ashai will ask you to procure a certain accessory found in a village in Necluda, which is the Ring Garland from Kakariko Village.

Travel to Kakariko Village, head to a stall in the middle of the village, and talk to the girl to purchase a Ring Garland for 5 Rupees. Next, fuse the Ring Garland to any weapon you have. You do not need to bring the item by hand back to Gerudo Town.

Once you attach the item to a weapon, head back to town and talk to Deltan again. Seeing the Ring Garland will cheer her up, allowing you to talk to her.

Take the Class Again

Tears of the Kingdom TOTK - Voe and You Classes

After you successfully break the ice with all three vai, you can talk to Ashai again to continue with the class and learn more about Nali, Pritana, and Deltan.

How to Start Voe and You Class

Head to the Classroom at Night

Tears of the Kingdom TOTK - Voe and You Classroom Overworld

Voe and You classes for older vai happen at 9 PM every night at the classroom in Gerudo Shelter underneath Gerudo Town, at the coordinates -3859, 2988, 0032. You can wait or sleep until nighttime, which is when the class will start.

You do not need anything to join the class, but you need a couple of items if you want to progress through Ashai's lectures.

Sneak In During Daytime

Tears of the Kingdom TOTK - Voe and You Day Classes

There are also Voe and You classes for younger vai happening at 12 PM at the same spot, but you have to sneak in from the left side of the room while wearing the entire Desert Voe set and standing on the empty spot near the voe dummies.

If you fail to sneak in, Ashai will notice you and ask you to leave, as Link's presence fits better during the night class with older Gerudo women.
