Link's Four New Abilities and other Key Items can be used to greatly enhance combat and exploration with creativity as your only limit.

Collectibles are mostly used for upgrades such as increasing your health and stamina, expanding inventory space for weapons and gear, and more.
You will have to exchange a certain amount of collectibles in order to receive the upgrade.
How to Increase Health and Stamina

Different kinds of fabric can be used to change and customize your paraglider's designs. You will need to receive the paraglider from Purah and unlock and obtain more fabric designs before you can start customizing.
There is no confirmed shop yet, but it is most likely that you can customize your paraglider at a specific store in Tears of the Kingdom.
