Oshozan-u Shrine (Mallet Smash) in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) can be found at the northeastern end of the North Tabantha Snowfield in the Hebra Mountains Region. Read on to learn how to reach it, its location, puzzle solution, as well as all treasure chest locations in Oshozan-u Shrine.
Oshozan-u Shrine can be found at the northeastern end of the North Tabantha Snowfield in the Hebra Mountains region.
The exact coordinates of the Oshozan-u Shrine is at -1405, 3677, 0288.
You will need to equip the Snowquill Set or consume dishes that will heat your body temperature up so you could withstand the cold weather in the Hebra Mountains Region.
Travel to Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower, and launch yourself from there to glide northeast towards the Oshozan-u Shrine.
This is a Puzzle type Shrine, so you need to solve the puzzle to reach the end and get a Light of Blessing.
Try to look around the area to find a way to move forward, and remember to use Link's Ultrahand, Ascend, or Recall abilities!
All Abilities and How to Unlock
Once you reach the area where the shrine is, you'll notice that you cannot climb up due to the ice.
Create a fire next to the ice wall using flint and wood! Alternatively, you can use other items to make fire like Fire fruit, Red Chuchu Jelly, or fire weapons.
Use a Hylian Pine Cone by throwing it into the fire to create a draft! A powerful wind will surge up, giving you a chance to glide up!
Ride the draft and use your glider to gain access to the shrine!
On entering the shrine, use Ultrahand to grab the log and attach it to the cube on the rail. It should be facing the target on the wall.
The general objective of the shrine is to construct mallet-like objects and use them to activate the trigger mechanisms you encounter throughout your progress.
Use Ultrahand again to grab a Rocket nearby and attach it to the back of the cube.
Be sure the rocket is facing the right way! Strike it to send it flying towards the target.
Once the door is open, the next room will have a chest on a platform. To reach it, grab a rocket and fuse it to your shield.
With the rocket on your shield, activate it and fly up on the platform. Open the chest to receive a Zonaite Bow!
Now you'll need to head back and use Ultrahand to grab the larger log and attach it to the gear.
Similar to earlier, you'll need a rocket to get it going so attach one to the end of the log.
Activate the rocket by striking it and it should hit the target, allowing you access to the shrine. Just note that using an axe will break the log and force you to start over.
Examine the Shrine to receive your reward!
