Wing Shield Triggers Slow Motion Effect

Zelda TotK - Wing Shield Slow Motion Effect
Using Wing Shield can help you shoot arrows carefully as it activates the slow motion effect. To do this, first fuse your shield with a Zonai Wing. After that, Shield Surf with your Wing Shield and Press ZR quickly before landing to trigger the slow motion effect.

Attach Gems to Use Their Effects

Zelda TotK - Ruby Shield
Using gems as fuse materials can add their respective effects to your shield. Any enemies that hits you while shielded will trigger its effects and you won't get any damage from from the blast.

The effect from gems can be used multiple times, which is very useful when inflicting the effects on multiple enemies.

Muddle Buds Confuses Enemies

TotK - Muddle Bud on a Shield

Muddle buds are useful when fused to shields, especially to a large group of enemies as they'll start fighting each other once they come in contact to the cloud released by a Muddle bud when an enemy hits it.

Puffshrooms as Smokescreens

Enemies hitting your shield with a Puffshroom fused to it will create a smokescreen. Enemies in the smokescreen won't see you and this w ill give you an opportunity to launch a sneakstrike on them or run away.

Shields with Bomb Flowers Won't Damage You

The explosion from Bomb Flowers won't damage you if it explodes while fused to your shield. This is great for damaging a large group of enemies. Once the bomb flower explodes, you need to fuse another one to your shield.

Gleeok Parts Will Also Add Elemental Effects

Zelda TotK - Flame Gleeok
You can also attach Gleeok Horns to add elemental effects to your shield. However, unlike with gems, you will need to parry to active their effects.

I fused a bookcase from hyrule castle's library. Rijus seal plushies from her room are also fusable. As is the stone seal statue behind her throne. This game has seemingly limitless options of fusion combinations! I love it
