Teba returns as the elder of the Rito Village in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). Read on for details on Teba's backstory from Breath of the Wild, character traits, as well as his role in Tears of the Kingdom.
Teba is the quest giver of the Tulin of Rito Village main quest. He appears alongside Saki at the top of the Rito Village.
Tulin of Rito Village Walkthrough
Teba takes Kaneli's place as the village elder of Rito Village. Kaneli was the previous chief of the village and Teba's mentor in Breath of the Wild.
He is the father of Tulin, the successor of Champion Revali.

| A Rito warrior who once helped Link save Rito Village. He took up the mantle of village elder from Kaneli to become the new leader of his people.
After his son, Tulin, joined with Link to confront the strange phenomenon, he acknowledged him as a fully fledged warrior and entrusted him with his precious bow. |
In the events of Breath of the Wild, Teba agrees to help Link retake the Divine Beast Vah Medoh and save Rito Village. After Link tames the Divine Beast, Teba resumes training Tulin in hopes that his son becomes a great warrior and Revali's successor.
