Use Hasty Elixir to Increase Movement Speed

ToTK Hasty Elixir Effect

Consuming the Hasty Elixir lets you increase movement speed for climbing, as well as running and swimming. To cook the Hasty Elixir, you need to combine a Hightail Lizard or a Hot-Footed Frog with any monster part.

Use Ascend Ability to Phase Through Ceilings

With the Ascend Ability selected, press L. The skill will activate and a jade-green indicator will appear on the ceiling.

Unlike the tedious climbing in Breath of the Wild, Ascend allows Link to traverse hills faster without the need of stamina exhaustion.

Use Other Methods

Zelda TotK - Use Rocket Shields

If you want to eliminate the process of climbing entirely, there are several methods you can do to reach higher places.

One is fusing a Zonai Rocket to a shield and using it to launch yourself high in the sky via a Rocket Shield. Alternatively, you can bring out a Zonai Spring, climb on top of it, hit it with your weapon, and launch yourself upwards.

Another method to get some height is by riding an updraft, which you can do by setting a grass on fire and throwing a Hylian Pine Cone on it to create a strong wind which you can ride with the help of your paraglider.

How to Climb Ice and in Rain

Equip Froggy Armor or Consume Sticky Elixir

Climbing ice walls and walls in rain requires slip resistance in order for you to climb the wall faster. The pieces of the Froggy armor set all provide an increase to slip resistance, as does the Sticky Elixir, which you can get by cooking a Sticky Lizard.
