Complete two side adventures from Robbie to unlock the Shrine Sensor and Sensor + in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). Read on to learn which side adventures to obtain the Sensor upgrades and more!
How to Get the Shrine Sensor
Complete Hateno Village Research Lab Side Adventure
You can unlock the Shrine Sensor once you have completed the Hateno Village Research Lab side adventure from Robbie. You can unlock this side adventure after completing A Mystery in the Depths main quest.
Side Adventure Walkthrough
| 1 |  Travel to Hateno Ancient Tech Lab Proceed to the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab to talk to Robbie. Use the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower then glide to easily get to there. |

| 2 |  Talk to Robbie Talking to Robbie will get you the Sensor. This will allow you to detect if a shrine is near your location. |
| 3 |  Walk towards the direction of the window Slowly walk towards the window near the entrance to test the sensor. |
| 4 |  Travel down to the bottom of the Hill Go down to the bottom of the Hill where the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab is located to see a cave entrance. |
| 5 |  Enter the cave Walk towards the cave and to the right side you will see the Mayahisik Shrine. Approach it to update the side adventure. |
| 6 |  Return back to Robbie Return to Robbie to confirm that the sensor is working. Finish the dialogue with him to complete the side adventure. |

How to Upgrade to the Sensor +
Complete Presenting: Sensor + Side Adventure
Presenting: Sensor + side adventure only appears once you have completed the Hateno Village Research Lab side adventure. Once you have completed that, talk to Robbie and choose the Sensor + upgrade in the dialogue option.
Side Adventure Walkthrough
| 1 |  Fill your Compendium with at least 5 types of monsters Robbie will ask you to fill out your Compendium with at least 5 types of monsters before installing the Sensor +. |

| 2 |  Return to Robbie after filling out your Compendium After filling out your Compendium at least 5 types of monsters, return to robbie to get the Sensor +. If you have already filled out your Compendium prior to this, you'll immediately proceed to getting the Sensor +. |
