| What to Do in Towns and Settlements |

You can spend Rupees and stock up on materials and resources at general stores found in most towns. Here, you can buy ingredients for cooking or purchase Arrows if you ever need more.
You can also sell items, cooked meals and elixirs, and other materials at general stores to get more Rupees.

You can also stay at inns to refill your Hearts. For 20 Rupees, you can sleep on a regular bed which restores all of Link's missing Hearts.
For 50 Rupees, you can sleep on special beds instead, which not only restores all Hearts but adds three temporary yellow hearts as well.

Armor and armor sets are available at armor shops around most towns. Some shops even offer armor that include resistances to the weather of that town's region.
For example, you can purchase the Snowquill Set in Rito Village, which provide Cold Resistance to protect Link from the Hebra Mountain's cold weather.

Towns and settlements do not have their own fast travel markers, but these are usually located near Shrines which serve as the teleport waypoint for these locations.
Make sure to interact with the Shrine upon seeing it for the first time so you can easily travel to that area!

You can get more hearts or extend your stamina wheel at Goddess Statues in exchange for four Light of Blessings. Goddess Statues are located at every major town in Hyrule.
How to Increase Maximum Hearts and Stamina

Towns and settlements have cooking pots set up inside the area. You can use it to pass the time, cook meals, or make elixirs from materials that you have gathered.

Most towns are also home to wells which have ores and materials below them, and may even contain treasure chests with loot.

You may also spot NPCs which can start Side Adventures and Side Quests after you interact with them.
Look out for their speech bubble if it contains a red exclamation mark (!) as this indicates that the character has a quest.
